Pine needles do not blow out of a gutter. They mat.



By December a gutter under pine canopy is packed solid, and the water that should

be going down the downspout goes over the edge instead — into the fascia board

behind it, which is wood.

- Fascia and drip edge checked behind the gutter

- Debris bagged and taken away

- Photographs of what came out, and of anything we found



Most gutter services clear the gutter and leave. We check what is behind it,

because the gutter is rarely the expensive part — the fascia is, and by the time

you can see it from the ground it is a carpentry job.



You get the photographs whether or not there is anything wrong, and you keep them.

If we find nothing, we say so.
