Rural Texas Women 1930-1960 Exhibit
The Tomball College & Community Library is hosting a special exhibit sponsored by the Texas Council for the Humanities. This exhibit of 51 black and white photographs gives viewers a look at the lives of rural Texas women, the programs of the U.S. Department of Agriculture?s Extension Service, and the nature and meaning of changes that swept across everyday life in rural Texas in the middle years of the twentieth century.
