ORIGINS IN CHAOS: PROTECTING THE HOUSTON HOMELAND
Please join Triumph Hospital Tomball in welcoming Andrew R. Bland, III Special Agent In Charge, Houston Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation to the Tomball community to speak about his considerable responsibilities as the head of the FBI?s 8th largest field office, as well as his experiences as the FBI?s top executive in Baghdad, Iraq for nearly two years. Other notable positions in SAC Bland?s 23-year career include assignments as the Chief of the Mexican Drug Unit at FBI Headquarters; Special Agent In Charge of the FBI Academy, Quantico, Virginia; and Deputy Assistant Director of the Inspection Division, FBI Headquarters. Prior to joining the FBI in 1986, SAC Bland served for six years in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Captain. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York.
