Fred Haas Nissan 10th Annual: Drive for the Cure

HOUSTON, TEXAS — Fred Haas Nissan is marking the 10th year of its Drive for the Cure campaign,

continuing a decade-long effort to support The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and the

fight against cancer.

Cancer touches families across Houston and communities everywhere. In 2026, more than 2.1 million

Americans are expected to be diagnosed with cancer, meaning millions of families, friends, caregivers

and neighbors will feel its impact.

Throughout October 2026, Fred Haas Nissan will donate $100 to MD Anderson for every new and used

vehicle sold at the dealership. Through The Drive for the Cure, Fred Haas Nissan helps support cancer

patients and families in Houston, helping provide the care, resources and support they need as they

navigate their cancer journey.

Over the past nine years, Drive for the Cure has generated $146,900 in donations, supporting MD

Anderson’s work in patient care, research, education and prevention.

The 10th Annual Drive for the Cure gives Fred Haas Nissan customers another opportunity to make a

difference simply by purchasing a vehicle. Every new or used vehicle sold during October triggers another

$100 donation, helping support the patients, families and medical professionals facing cancer every day.
