Corporate leader presents, Discovering God’s Provision in Difficult Times

Productivity coach Greg Mather, of Magnolia, will present, Discovering God’s Provision in Difficult Times, at the Christian Business Luncheon in Tomball on Tuesday, March 13.
 
Mather graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a bachelor’s of science degree in engineering in 1962, and is a graduate of the Managerial Policy Institute of the University of Southern California. An All-America end while at the Academy, he played in three wins over Army.
 
After the academy, Mather entered the business sector and soon found himself in the oilfield running various worldwide service/manufacturing organizations. In 1979 he reorganized the small, struggling Milchem Drilling Controls Division of Baker International (now BakerHughes), making it the fastest growing, most profitable operation in Baker International within three years.
 
Mather achieved similar results as President and COO of California Production Service; and as group vice president, Western Hemisphere at Oiltools International.  Most recently, as vice president of National Oilwell, he took revenues from $259 million to $365 million, growing profits 73 percent in just two years. 
 
Since leaving the corporate world, Mather has consulted with businesses and non-profits in strategic planning, and leadership development.  He is co-founder and board president of The Grief Resource Center, an organization devoted to helping families who have suffered the loss of a child.  He also serves on the Elder Board of WoodsEdge Community Church.
 
Vocalist Evette Isbell will provide music at the luncheon. Isbell began singing at the age of five and has been an opry performer for the past 16 years. She has also served as the praise and worship leader at Lake Houston United Methodist Church.

Join the Christian Business Luncheon on Tuesday, March 13, from 12 to 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 401 Oxford St in Tomball. Due to spring break the luncheon has been moved from its usual location on the Lone Star College-Tomball campus. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. RSVPs are not necessary but available online at, ChristianBusinessLuncheon.org. Free will donations are accepted in lieu of payment.
