📌 Purpose of the Ambassadors Group

The Ambassadors is a group of members who help represent and support the Chamber?s membership. Their role usually includes:

Welcoming and engaging new members
Encouraging membership retentions and participation
Representing the Chamber at events like ribbon cuttings, business after hours, luncheons, and community gatherings
Acting as a liaison between the Chamber Staff and the membership
 

📅 What Happens at the Monthly Meeting

Ambassador meetings generally include:

🗣️ Introductions & Updates
Brief introductions or check-ins from attendees
Updates from the Chamber staff on membership numbers, new members, upcoming events, and initiatives

📢 Review of Chamber Activities & Volunteer Opportunities
Talking through upcoming events where ambassadors can volunteer (e.g., ribbon cuttings, business after hours, networking breakfasts)
Assigning or organizing volunteer roles like greeting, emceeing, or staffing at Chamber functions

🤝 Networking & Planning
Time to connect wiht other ambassadors and business leaders
Discuss strategies to reach out to new members, encourage engagement, or follow up with current members

🧠 Strategy & Feedback
Sharing ideas on how to improve member experience
Discussing feedback from members ambassadors have interacted with
Planning outreach for the next month

🗓️ Action Items
Coordinating calendar items and assignment of any actions needed for the upcoming month

Typically meet the Tuesday prior to each First Friday Luncheon at Noon in Chamber Board Room (Check calendar for any changes to location)
