Workman Insurance is blazing into Tomball with a brand new beautiful office suite at Spring Cypress and N. Eldridge just off of 249. We are seeking an experienced Property & Casualty Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage a book of business, deliver outstanding customer service, and support producers in retaining and growing accounts. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients—handling renewals, endorsements, certificates, and coverage inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and service an assigned book of commercial and/or personal lines insurance accounts.
  • Process renewals, endorsements, policy changes, certificates of insurance, and billing inquiries.
  • Identify and analyze client insurance needs; recommend appropriate coverage and risk management solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving.
  • Partner with producers to cross-sell additional products and identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Maintain accurate and organized client records in the agency management system.
  • Market new and renewal accounts, obtain competitive quotes, and negotiate with carriers.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, carrier guidelines, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

  • Required: Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in an account management or customer service role within a P&C insurance agency.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, rating, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360, HawkSoft, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to client satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
