29th Annual Economic Outlook Conference

Industry executives, local politicians and community business leaders will join together on Feb. 20, 2015, for The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce's 29th-annual Economic Outlook Conference. The EOC will be held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, focusing on the dynamic growth in The Woodlands and surrounding areas and the impact of this growth on the local economy, real estate markets and infrastructure. "Our entire region in general, and The Woodlands and South Montgomery County in particular, is experiencing tremendous growth," says Daniel Schroder, chairman of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce and the North Houston Market Manager for Midsouth Bank. "Our conference touches on all aspects of economic impact, for companies of all sizes." North American energy services provider, Strike, is the presenting sponsor of the Economic Outlook Conference for the second year in a row. Cypressbrook Company is the keynote sponsor, while Alta Mesa Holdings and Lone Star Corporate College will sponsor the luncheon portion of the event. Peter Cella, president and CEO of Chevron Phillips Chemical, a worldwide leader in chemical production that is headquartered in The Woodlands, will give the conference?s keynote address. Congressman Kevin Brady (R-TX), regional economist Patrick Janikoswki from the Greater Houston Partnership, Sallie Rainer, CEO of Entergy Texas, Gil Staley of The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership, and many more will discuss the health of the economy from the local to global level.
