Ben Keating is one of the largest automobile dealers in the state of Texas.  Keating sells all makes and models, including Fords, Toyotas, Chevrolets and Dodges at his dealerships located in towns stretching from Dallas to Port Lavaca, and San Antonio to Tomball. And, it all started in Tomball! On Tuesday, May 14, Keating will share his testimony, talents and philosophy at the Christian Business Luncheon, 12 to 1 p.m. at the Elmer L. Beckendorf Conference Center.
Faith has always been a part of Keating’s life. However, it wasn’t until going through a difficult battle with drugs and eventually finding sobriety that Keating developed a true relationship with the Lord.  After starting a family in northwest Houston, Keating and his family became involved with Northwest Bible Church. It was there he built a relationship with then-pastor, Dr. Bob Livesay and his wife, Ann, through mission trips, Bible studies, and the annual marriage /parenting retreat for Keatings’ many employees and their spouses.
Keating’s faith and spiritual gift of giving is apparent every day of operations in each of his dealerships. The people that work for him have a sense of loyalty and integrity that cannot always be found in this or any other business.
“Family bonds are strongly encouraged and supported, because I know that if the home life is happy, you (my employees) will be happy and successful in the workplace,” Keating said.  
Since moving to Victoria, Texas Keating has been a key player in helping to get Victoria Young Life flourishing in the community. Keating considers his financial success a gift from God and he regards this gift with biblical stewardship.
