Tomball, TX - The Farmers Market Board of Directors is currently seeking individuals to join the board for the 2023 term. This is a unique opportunity to get involved in a vital community organization and make a meaningful impact in the local food system.
The Farmer’s Market is a beloved institution in our community, providing fresh, locally grown produce, prepared foods and local artisan crafts to residents and visitors alike. As a board member, you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of the market and help to ensure its long-term sustainability.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for local agriculture and a desire to support small, independent businesses. We are seeking individuals with a wide range of skills and experience, including marketing, event planning, fundraising, and community outreach.
The board meets once per quarter to discuss market operations and plan for upcoming events. Board members are also expected to participate in quarterly events.
