Sharing Spring Kindness

Please join a community wide effort coordinated by the Spring Fire Department to “Share Spring Kindness” in the form of Comfort & Recovery Packages for Spring families burned out of their homes.
This will be much needed kindness from the entire Spring community to the roughly 50 families annually who can’t stay in their homes without major repairs following a house fire.
The packages will all include gift cards, certificates, and vouchers from Spring businesses to help the family with their immediate needs for shelter, food, and necessities. A few small luxuries would be a bonus. The packet will also contain a booklet on key fire recovery steps.
Multiple Spring hotels have provided free nights, including the Spring LaQuinta, Best Western Plus, Marriott City Place and the Residence Inn by Marriott in City Place. More are still appreciated and will be needed.
Local restaurants and businesses can help with gift certificates or gift cards for family meals, and for families to buy necessities like toothbrushes and clothing. Brothers Pizza Express and Lynn’s Table have committed to get this program rolling by Easter. More are still appreciated and needed.
Anyone who wants to participate can call Tracee at the Spring Fire Department at 281-825-7240 or email her at Tracee.Evans@SpringFD.org.
This community-wide opportunity to Pay It Forward with Share Spring Kindness is for those who need it in a fire emergency.
Please consider adding your Spring business to this effort. Donation letters provided upon request.

Sincerely,
Tracee Evans
