Intership Opportunity - U.S. Congressman Hunt's Office

Congressman Hunt is now accepting applications for internships at his district offices in Houston and Tomball, TX.  This program allows university students an opportunity to gain direct knowledge of the functions of a congressional office, constituent services, community outreach, the legislative process, and more.

Interns work alongside staff to resolve constituent matters, complete casework, provide research assistance, assist with townhalls and events, and provide support by answering phones and performing administrative tasks.

Please complete and submit the form below to apply for an internship in one of our offices. Ensure that you have your cover letter and resume ready to upload at the end of this form. Submitting these documents is required.

Internships are available in the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.  While an intern is expected to complete a full semester (or a summer), we are very flexible in scheduling around academic affairs. District interns are expected to work 15-20 hours per week (or more if requested), with schedules being arranged based on academic availability during the day/week.
