GTACC Health Wellness Alliance Committee Monthly Meeting

Our Purpose:

The Greater Tomball Area Health and Wellness Alliance is a collaborative effort among healthcare entities, providers and businesses in the greater Northwest Houston region providing health and wellness related platforms to support economic development. The alliance will focus on providing opportunities which support healthcare professionals and wellness initiatives for a healthy and vibrant community.

Our Members:

•Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce Members in good standing.

•Attend meetings regularly.

•Actively serve to develop and implement programs/events within our Areas of Focus.

Our Areas of Focus:

Community Luncheons -

General health and wellness related talks for providers, business owners and citizens on relevant health and wellness issues. These events offer local experts an opportunity to engage and educate with colleagues, offer local businesses the chance to highlight their products and services, and offer the audience a time of networking, lunch, and access to valuable resources.

Tomball Night Health & Wellness Expo -
Offers area families a unique and interactive evening of fun focused on keeping them healthy and active! Our goal is to increase awareness about the resources available in our community that promote healthy family lifestyles, and make the Expo an exciting addition to the tradition of Tomball Night.

Workplace Wellness -

Explore opportunities to engage and recognize area businesses committed to workplace programs designed to support healthy behaviors and improve health outcomes while at work. We will look for ways to share effective workplace programs, policies, and environments that are health-focused and worker-centered within our business community, recognizing that these have the potential to significantly benefit employers, employees, and their families.
