The purpose of this fundraiser is to supplement our clients' tuition\, and to support their Center's annual operating expenses. Since SAW receives neither government support nor entitlement funding\, the Special Angels rely upon the generous support of our community. SAW currently provides daily activities for 34 adults with intellectual disabilities. We are proud to announce that our featured speaker is Nelda Luce Blair\, named "Hometown Hero" of The Woodlands\, as well as one of "Houston's 50 Most Influential Women of 2009" by Houston Woman magazine\, and a "Citizen of the Year 2009" by the Greater Houston Women's Chamber! As you know by her actions\, Nelda is the vibrant breath of community involvement.
