The public is invited to this free event\, where Phi Theta Kappa will explore the topic "Is Your Professor a Censor?" as part of its ongoing discussion series The Democratization of Information: Power\, Peril\, and Promise.\n\n \n\n The panel will examine such questions as how a professor decides what material to present in their courses\, how much of their own ideology they filter out of class discussions\, and whether there are any issues that are so "settled" that they no longer require discussion. Panelists include LSC-Tomball faculty members Dr. Bill Simcik\, professor of Biology\, Dr. Babu Srinivasan\, professor of History\, and Dr. Margaret Jelinek-Lewis\, professor of Psychology.
