DESCRIPTION:Give It Away is Salem's initiative to get beyond the church's needs and out in the community\; stretching our faith and the faith of our church community to Give It Away. When you live generously\, you live boldly. And through that act of faith\, bold things in the name of Jesus begin to happen!\n\nHere is a brief summary and why we believe these organizations need our extra support:\n\n\n	Tomball Renewal Center - Tomball Renewal Center\, was originally designed to be a home for abandoned women.  TRC has now moved to the heart of Tomball on Main Street\, the center will become a place of hope\, healing\, and recovery.  With a little bit of renovation\, the new Tomball Renewal Center can begin living out its mission in our community.  \n	TOMAGWA - TOMAGWA\, which stands for Tomball\, Magnolia\, and Waller\, began in 1990 by members of Salem Lutheran Church after two tragedies hit our community. These innovative people\, saw a need and went about meeting that need in our community. TOMAGWA Health Care Ministries is a jewel in our community\, and one of the ways Tomball lives up to its nickname\, "hometown with a heart."  \n	TEAM - TEAM\, Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries\, served 13\,000 clients last year through their food pantry\, emergency assistance\, and resale shop  and 100% of these people fall below the poverty line.  TEAM's new leadership has expanded vision to better address root causes of poverty and to provide Christian community to its clients. To move TEAM into its next phase of ministry\, it needs computerization and reconfigured office space.\n\n100% of the donations received to Give It Away in March plus 100% of all church offerings on April 3 will go to these organizations!\n\n\n\nTo give\, you can donate at salem4u.com or you can text-to-give by texting GIA with a dollar amount (e.g. GIA 50 = $50 going to Give-it-Away) to 844-243-9188.
