DESCRIPTION:Chamber presents candidate forum\, April 12\n \n\nThe Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce will present\, Meet the Candidates\, a forum providing the public with information from candidates seeking election to Tomball City Council Positions 2 and 4. The forum will take place\, Thursday\, April 12\, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the teaching theater on the Lone Star College-Tomball campus.\n\n \n\nIncumbents Mark Stoll\, Position 2\, and Derek Townsend\, Position 4\, will be joined by candidates Barbara Tague and Jeffie Capppadonna. Tague is seeking election to Position 2 and Cappadonna is seeking Position 4. Each candidate will have the opportunity to present their views and opinions as they answer questions posed by community members.  \n\n \n\nPresented by the Government & Legislative Affairs Committee of the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce\, the purpose of the forum is to enlighten voters of the issues\, ideas\, and opinions of each candidate with fairness\, and to encourage eligible City of Tomball residents to become active voters.  The public is invited to attend.\n\n \n\nElection Day for the city's two open seats\, both at-large positions\, will be on Saturday\, May 12\, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at City Hall\, located at 401 Market St.  Early voting begins on April 30 and extends through May 8. Early voting by personal appearance will be available each weekday at City Hall.
