DESCRIPTION:The Yellow Rose of Texas Republican Women's Club will host Mrs. Becky Norton Dunlop on Wednesday\, January23\, 2008 at 6PM. Mrs. Dunlop will speak on "Immigration: Rules of Law".  The meeting will be at the Tomball College Library in Room L129\, first floor.  \nMrs. Dunlop is Vice President of the Heritage Foundation\, Washington\, D.C.\, a Senior Fellow of the Alexis de Tocqueville Institution and a Visiting Fellow with the Atlas Economic Research Foundation. Mrs. Dunlop is the think tank's "chief ambassador" to outside audiences - especially other conservative groups and institutions around the country and the globe.  From 1994-1998\, Mrs. Dunlop served in the cabinet of Virginia Governor George Allen as the Secretary of Natural Resources\, responsible for the management oversight of eight Virginia State agencies\, including enviromental and historic resource agencies.  In the 1980's Mrs. Dunlop was a senoir official in the Administration of President Ronald Reagan\, including service in the WHite House as Deputy Assistant to the President for Presidential Personnel and also as Director of the Presidente's Cabinet office.  She has also served in the administration of President George W. Bush.  In 2003\, President Bush appointed her as chairwoman of the Federal Services Impasse Panel\, which handles disputes between government agencies and labor unions.\n\nDunlop currently serves on the boards of a number of organizations including:  The Virginia Institute for Public Policy\, the Council for National Policy\, the Family Foundation of Virginia\, the Reagan Ranch Board of Governors\, The Reagan Alumni Association\, The Association for American Educators Foundation\, the American Conservation Union\, the National Conservative Campaign Fund\, and the Phillips Foundation.  \n\nShe is married to George S. Dunlop\, who currently serves as Deputy Assistanct Army Secretary.  They live in Arlington\, Va.
