She also serves as a member for the Harris County CERT Rodeo Round-Up and National Weather Service Hurricane Workshop Planning Committees.  Prior to joining the County\, Misty served 15 years as Children's/Youth Pastor in Oklahoma and Texas.  When not conducting CERT training you can find Misty volunteering with her church and spending time with her family.
