DESCRIPTION:The 23rd Annual Scarlett Scamper K-9 Fun Run & Costume Contest will be held the morning of Saturday\, October 23rd at Lone Star College-Tomball near the Zion Rd. entrance. Dog owners are encouraged to bring their pets to this "pooch fest" and enter them in the costume contest and/or one maile race..\n\n\n\nActivities begin at 7:30 am with packet pick-up and registration. The costume contest starts at 8:30am and the one mile race begins at 9 am. The canines will be grouped according to weight. Only dogs whose owners can provide proof of current vaccinations are eligible to participate. Minors entering their dogs must have parental consent.\n\n\n\nA trophy will be awarded to the 1st\, 2nd and 3rd place winner from each group. A trophy will also be awarded to the costume winner of each group. One dog will receive the overall Grand CHampion trophy.
