SUMMARY:2016 Miss Tomball Pageant - Celebrating 50 years!
DESCRIPTION:The Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the 50th Miss Tomball Pageant on Saturday\, November 21st. Miss Sonia Azad\, formerly with KTRK-TV and new health/medical reporter with ABC affiliate WFAA-TV in Dallas\, will host this special 50 year tradition as the master of ceremonies.\n\n\n\nThe annual event will begin at 7 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in their highly acclaimed performing arts and worship center.\n\n\n\nAt the top of the evening contestants will take the stage in an upbeat pageant march and will later be presented on stage in evening attire. Contestants will be judged by out-of-town judges on the basis of poise\, personality and beauty. Ten semi-finalists will be chosen and five finalists will be awarded trophies in addition to other prizes and gifts. After the judges' decision\, the 2016 Miss Tomball will be crowned by reigning 2015 Miss Julia Gimblet and will be awarded a college scholarship. Former Miss Tomball's will be honored during this golden celebration too!
